Project Details
United Health Centers is committed to the lifetime wellness of their community by providing comprehensive quality healthcare to everyone. Their compassion and respect for their patients is once again conveyed through the development of UHC’s Selma clinic. This beautifully designed space offers access to general healthcare providers as well as to specialty dental and optometry services.
Patients are greeted by a warm and welcoming environment the moment they arrive at the United Health Centers Selma clinic. Comforting natural elements like wood planks are found on both interior and exterior ceiling planes. Transom perimeter windows allow for one to flow seamlessly into the other, establishing design continuity. Circular sculptural panels are hung from the ceiling in patient waiting areas, bringing visual interest to a new dimension while also aiding in sound deflection. Art installations engage with patients throughout the facility and assist with patient wayfinding. Neutral colors with pops of soft blue are found in both finishes and fabrics, creating a soothing palate while also connecting to UHC’s familiar graphic identity.
